Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Starlight Photography, we value your time and commitment, and we do our best to provide a smooth booking experience. Please read our refund and cancellation policy carefully before booking a session.

 

 

1. Booking Fee / Advance Payment

  • A non-refundable booking fee (advance) is required to secure your session or event date.

  • This fee ensures your slot is exclusively reserved and cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

2. Client Cancellations

  • If the client cancels the booking:

     

    • The booking fee/advance is non-refundable.

    • Any additional amount paid beyond the booking fee may be refunded if the cancellation is made at least 14 days before the scheduled session.

    • Cancellations made less than 14 days before the session/event are non-refundable in full.

3. Rescheduling

  • Clients may request rescheduling of the session at least 7 days in advance, subject to photographer’s availability.

  • The booking fee will be carried forward to the new date (only once).

  • If rescheduling is requested less than 7 days before the shoot, a new booking fee may apply.

4. Photographer Cancellations

  • In the rare event Starlight Photography is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances (illness, emergencies, or technical issues):

     

    • The client will receive a full refund of all payments made, including the booking fee.

    • Alternatively, a suitable replacement photographer may be arranged with the client’s consent.

5. Refund Processing

 

Approved refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days via the original payment method.
